The Foundation of Effective, Healthy & Beauty Programs: Sleep, Exercise, Diet, Nutrition and Hormonal Balancing
Sleep:
One of the most critical points in resolving health problems is your quality of sleep. Do you have trouble sleeping, and constantly feel tired and worn down? A hormonal imbalance can make getting a good night’s rest almost impossible. You deserve to get the rest your body needs. You need a full evaluation to determine what is in the way, so it can be resolved. You should be having a minimum of 5 hours of unbroken sleep – and 7 or 8 hours is even better.
Exercise:
The second point is exercise – that word you may not want to hear! After we turn age 40, our exercise regime must radically change. In fact, hard core exercise programs can cause more problems than they resolve. When peri-menopause begins, the metabolism slows, and revving it back up requires consistency and a plan of attack that works. A successful exercise program for over 40 is less time spent with a focused program that gets results. You should not work out for more than 30 minutes, and take one day off every week. After age 40, you need a smarter, not harder exercise program. We can advise you how to get results from your regime, instead of the distress of endlessly working out with little improvement.
Diet/Nutrition
Diet and nutrition are different subjects. Our diet is what and how we eat. Nutrition is about getting the building blocks for a healthy life. What should you really be putting in your body? You should ensure your food is made up of natural, fresh, ingredients that are free of hormones and poisons. We can help you get a diet/nutrition program that improves your health and wellbeing. When your body is getting the nutrients it needs, you are less likely to be dealing with constant cravings.
Hormonal Balancing
As you change your diet to healthier foods, get more sleep, and the right kinds of exercise, your hormones tend to balance and getting better and longer sleep becomes natural. You may need some extra assistance with oral or topical hormonal support or acupuncture, but once you have your health back on track this is an easy problem to get resolved.
